This necklace looks elegant and very sophisticated. This piece measures 31.75" long, so it can drape once or twice over a nice dress or blouse. The necklace features 62- hand-carved natural black onyx beads, measuring 10 mm to 10.5 mm in size, with a very smooth high lustrous surface. These beads are in excellent condition and show hardly any signs of wear. There are also 5 large, very beautiful 14 kt yellow gold 9 mm ribbed gold beads and 10 high-polished 14 kt yellow gold 5 mm gold beads. Some of the gold beads do show signs of wear in the form of indentations, but they are barley visible when worn and do not take away from the beauty of this piece. All of the beads were hand strung and hand knotted on a thick, very strong silk string, that will hold up well over the years. There is a strong, easy to open, 14 kt yellow gold fish hook clasp, that is in perfect working order.”
