After watching "Ignition control replacement on a lennox g16 furnace" on YouTube I ordered this kit and replaced my Robertshaw SP735L - Lennox P/N18G9101 controller. I had to drill two small holes to make the backing plate work in my furnace but everything else was plug and play. It was a leap of faith as I'm just a DIY guy but the new Honeywell controller works like a charm. FYI, my pilot light was lighting but the main burners wouldn't come on. I did try changing the flame sensor first.

Keeping The House Warm
After 22 years the old spark controller gave up in my Lennox 20G. Repair tech said 500 to 600 to fix. Out of my budget! Getting cold and the electric heaters were going to kill my wallet. Saw this listed and said why not. Got it a week later. Fallowing the instructions. Installed in about a hour. Checked everything twice!! Turned the gas back on and the power. Held the cover switch in. The vent door opens. Hear gas and the snapping of the spark and the fan kicked on had heat again. Cost me a service call $98 buck to confirm what I thought the problem was and the cost of this little black box. Worked out Great!
I wasn't sure if this was going to fix my issue or not, but it sure did! My furnace acted like it would not open the gas valve, I had no ignition or gas smell, but, after installing this, all is good again!
