A radio with great reception and tough
I had the exact same radio but have had more accidents with it than I can remember but it finally gave up. These radios get excellent reception and the emergency wind up is easy to use and the bright light is great if you need it.

Had 2,'lost' one.Bought 2 more.Good sound quality,all bands work,good reception.IMO where this radio shines is in power usage,it runs a looooong time before I need to recharge the eneloop batteries i use in them,super power efficient.You want a reliable long running radio you cant get better.As for quality never had one go dead and I use mine a lot.I pay on average 30-40 dollars for used ones.I LOVE these radios,hopefully you will too.Had 2,'lost' one.Bought 2 more.Good sound quality,all bands work,good reception.IMO where this radio shines is in power usage,it runs a looooong time before I need to recharge the eneloop batteries i use in them,super power efficient.You want a reliable long running radio you cant get better.As for quality never had one go dead and I use mine a lot.I pay on average 30-40 dollars for used ones.I LOVE these radios,hopefully you will too.

I've been very happy with this model overall and will always go back to it. It's sensitive on all bands and a very low noise receiver It's construction is very sturdy. The only time I ever got a bad one is when I ordered one for a friend.
