The thermostat on my wine fridge died and the replacement part was obsolete. I adapted this electronic thermostat and it’s working better than the original unit. Took about an hour to install as it requires power so I had to run a neutral wire. I placed the unit in the lower compartment. Unlike the original thermostat this unit has a thermocouple and needs to measure the box temp not the evap temp. It takes a few minutes to read the directions and program plus the temp is in Celsius not Fahrenheit but otherwise a great little thermostat.

It's super simple and has two stages, one heating and one cooling. It's Celsius only, but it's easy to figure out. Calibration is simple and the temp is spot on.

I bought this to run an electric heater in my RV between 2 temperatures. I had to add a relay so that it would shut off if it got too cold so my furnace could run without blowing the breaker. So I set a low temperature and a high temperature, and the heater only comes on when it is between these two temperatures. It worked great all winter. I only wish that it had Fahrenheit instead of Celsius for the temperature display.

Works well, programming is a little difficult and the instructions aren't great, but there are many videos on YouTube to guide you. The wiring itself is pretty easy if you know basic electronics.

This is the type to get. Built with better parts. Handles more amps over longer time without burning out.
