If the velcro strap was about 2-3" longer on each side it would be more useful. These are made from a polyester /spandex blend and the spandex streches too much. The too soft foam, non-adjustable interior pads are not effective in providing adequate compression to the hernia. I'd spend twice as much for this item if these considerations were addressed. Still have not found a good enough product anywhere. Shipping was very quick.
