We have used this pad twice now in cold weather camping at 32 degrees. It has been great! Nice and warm with great comfort! It is much better at keeping the cold out than our ThermaRest. Also, I have hip problems that pain me at night on the ThermaRest, but the Klymit pad was so comfortable, I didn't have any problems. It packs nice and small in the bag for backpacking too. This is such a great pad we're thinking of getting another one or two for the other family members.

I'd been borrowing a friend's (far more expensive) Big Agnes Insulated Q-Core sleeping pad for my autumn backpacking excursions, and quite frankly, this Klymit pad is WAY more comfortable and equally warm. I am recommending this to everyone I know. Its unique design allowed me to sleep cozily on my back and on my side, and even after some tossing and turning, I stayed on the pad all night. It's not slippery like some other sleeping pads I've tried, and it doesn't make any noises (I've used some "crinkly"-sounding pads; it's a real buzzkill.) For the price, you truly can't beat it. I am a Klymit convert and will never turn back!

I was skeptical about buying a factory re-furb mattress. When we received it, it was like a new one. Absolutely nothing wrong with it. The mattress itself is fantastic. It's easy to blow up and it is very comfortable to lay on. No it's not as good as sleeping in my own bed but when it comes to sleeping on the ground this mattress was a great choice. It's light weight ( 24.5 oz.) it deflates easily and packs up small for repacking. Great for the back packer or biker and I have already recommended it to a friend.

I have a bad back/neck. This takes 15-20 breaths to full inflate. I put it on my carpeted bedroom floor and it was as comfortable as my bed but I like a v. firm mattress. Paired it with a Big Agnes Sleeping Giant pillow and I can camp without a stiff neck in the morning. It rolls up into about a 1.5 lb package and seems very durable. I bought the factory refurbished for $40 and it is a bargain and was as good as new.

I've used the pad for two nights with temps in the mid-thirties. I'm a side sleeper and was concerned with my hip/shoulder pushing through to the ground. Never happened ... I felt padded comfort everywhere the whole night. I never felt the coolness of the ground, either. Was also a bit concerned about the relatively narrow width, but again it was a non-issue, as I never slid off the pad. As advertised, it packed up small and inflated with 12-14 puffs. In general, its everything I expected when I read the reviews and the item description.
