Pump works well, BUT MAKE sure you unbolt the three bolt nipple and remove the shipping plug. I found for a shallow well I had to have adequate exit side diameter of pipe, in my case a Garden hose, and use a shor one first or even a relief valve to allow the pump to get going. It is a matter of the dynamics of water suction. The pump can sense when the pressures are not correct and will shut down. I have only a one inch intake now but I will change to a 1.5 inch intake pipe.

There was a hole in the pump casing it did start but spayed water everywhere I have put JB weld on it so will see Made in china what do I expect also found a chunk of metal in the oil case when I was putting oil in it how long will it last?????

I selected US seller only. I am now not so sure it was in US. Only response I got was at 5am central time. Box that was delivered was damaged. No mounting hardware for panel. Company did refund me some to buy a mount but there are none to fit the size panel and the mounts were more than what the refund was for. They were not helpful with finding a mount. No instructions. Location of item was in California but phone number on description was a Springfield, Missouri number. No one ever answered.
