The Cole jaws work well but be carefull as the bowl will come out if you dont trim the bowl bottom ever so easily. If you get a catch look out as the bowl will fly out. The biggest issue is the lack of instructions in or on the box. Nowhere on the box or inside does it say not to use the Woodworm screw with the Cole jaws attached but they do sell a Woodworm screw specific for use with the Cole jaws. After i lost several pieces flying out of the Nova G3 with 50mm jaws and Cole jaw stacked and attached by the Woodworm screw that comes with the G3 i started researching and found one small paragraph in the Nova chuck manual (for all their products) that stated that the regular Wormwood screw wont work with the Cole stacked and that you must buy a seperate Cole jaw sized Woodworm screw. As dangerous as that situation is you would think they would mention on the Cole jaw box or instructons. I sent a couple emails to Nova and have had no response. Period. Bottom line the Cole jaw is very useful for cleaning up the bottom of a bowl as it is intended to do but be very careful while using it and do not attempt to use the regular provided Woodworm screw chuck with it attached.Read full review

This is a very useful accessory to the Nova chuck. It's made well, and gently but firmly grasps bowls of different sizes so you can clean up the bottoms.

Works as expected. Obviously, these type of jaws only hold by friction and on a narrow band of the bowl. As long as the bowl shape allows for a good grip, this works well.

It is described as having a ten inch capacity but in reality is only 9.4 with the jaws fully extended.
