Of course we all know that julia roberts is a great actress. I bought this movie because i had seen it before and loved it. There are many people out there that have step parents and its hard to accept. This movie helps kids to realize that this is the way life is sometimes, but that doesnt mean they will take the place of your parents. It also teaches that allthough you may suspect that your parents are going to live a long life, it isnt always that way. This is a great movie from start to finish. Its a sad movie, but has many happy moments as well. Great movie for the whole family.Of course we all know that julia roberts is a great actress. I bought this movie because i had seen it before and loved it. There are many people out there that have step parents and its hard to accept. Susan Serandon and Julia Roberts are magnifacent in this very touching and heartwarming film about a devorced woman who finds out that her ex is remaring and that she is dieing of cancer... She eventually relises she must get over her haitred for the "other woman" and learn to get along for the sake of her childrens future.... Without her... It will bring you to tears!!!

Great title story about being a step mother
saw this movie on TV and really enjoyed the warn hearted story. All the trials both mothers went through and the changes and heartaches the children went through and the fact that is had a great ending even though it was said.
