    What Was She (Ruth) Thinking???

    I have read every one of her books, with the only exception being the novel that she wrote called "Possession". This crime series volume is mainly based on the murder of Rolf Neslund by his wife, Ruth. Since there was no body found, much of what the trial is about is circumstantial. Since I lived in the area at the time of the trial, I remember this case and followed it in the papers. Much of what Ann writes about was not disclosed in the papers and provides her excellent analysis that she is so well-known for. The only reason I am not giving this an excellent review is that I am finding that the mini-stories she has included in the crime series books are, well, stale. You can tell by the pictures that they are from the 70's or 80's. Personally, I would prefer more recent short crime ...

    Compelling yet heartbreaking Stories

    Ann Rule brings back to life many compelling yet, heartbreaking stories. It's hard to imagine how cold and calculated some people can be. But, however hard it is to imagine, these cases are all too real. From a 65 year old woman to is suspected to be a heinous killer, to a kidnapping that no one knows what will happen, Ann Rule delivers. All of her books are well written and researched. What makes them better is that she has sat at these trials and done hours of interviews with people involved in the cases. That makes her work even better. As with all her books, I recommend this one as well.

    Ann Rule Books

    I read many true crime writers books, but Ann Rule is by far one of the very best writer's of true crimes. She is one person that will take you into the view and life of the victim, which for the most part is not the norm. Over the years it's been the Murderer's in the true crime history that is widely reviewed and completely broken down piece by piece, so that we can, the best way that we can, try to understand or atleast attempt to what makes that type of personality tick. So, it always has been the killer that everyone remembers the name of and the where and the how's of...but, Ann Rule, take all of that and pulls it a step further, while she tries to also look into that aspect of the crime, she also brings us closer to the victim and the loved ones left behind in such a way that you ...

    No Regrets by Ann Rule

    Ann Rule is the best true crime writer of her time! Every book that I read about her is outstanding, it is all about real stories, real people that are the same kind of people as whom our next-door neighbors could be. Amazing top-notch writer!
