First of all it is eye candy. The inlays are beautiful and the carving on the back of the necks are old school looking like this Banjo is handmade somewhere by a moonshiner back in the hills of Tennessee. It has great sound, sustain and tone. The Banjo is very well made, and is a heavy instrument. I feel it is a great value for what your getting. She tuned right up and sounded great! I will be proud to stand on any stage with this baby in my arms. See several videos of it playing on You tube. The pictures do not do it justice. Just hope the gold plating holds it shine. Only time will tell. The only negative I can say is the tail piece is a little cheesy for the quality of the instrument.

Hi ebay as far as your part in the delivery all is good , how ever much l may like the banjo , it made me realize that when l bought this product l would not buy an instrument with out seeing it first. The neck was loose and the bridge was on backwards , it cost me an extra $45 to set it up , not good . l love the banjo , it is loud and it looks good , so l have been told. l would buy this banjo again but not until l see it first and play it.
This banjo is a very beautiful gold plated banjo. I plays okay, but I've played banjos before that were easier to play than this one but they were a lot more expensive. The biggest fault I find is that the body of the banjo is so thick and with the brass tone ring it gives it a hollow sound which sounds like a cheap banjo. If it had a bronze tone ring instead, it would sound so much better. For the price I paid for it, it's still a pretty good banjo. The finish on it is excellent and it would be a good banjo for a beginner. If I can find a bronze tone ring at a good price, I will be replacing the brass tone ring with it.
I love this banjo! It surprised me how clear it rings and how beautiful it is. I bought it as a second to my Stelling. I did some tinkering with the fifth string and worked on cleaning it up a bit, but after I did that and put fresh strings, conditioned the fretboard, and the tinkering banjo players all do (cuz they are banjo players!), this is what I call “a keeper!”
