  • Useful for applying axial force while screwing

    Wanted to try this type of screwdriver once I saw the ball-grip kind some time ago. I have tried slanted-T-style and "pistol grip"-style screwdrivers, while those allows for applying more torque their offset nature made it difficult to have control over the screw when starting, particularly when one needed to apply axial force at the same time. The ratcheting feels good and is done in small steps. I like that the ratcheting direction and the conical part of the screwdriver is accessible with the hand that is holding it. This allows for starting a screw manually with the one hand holding the screwdriver, freeing up the other to hold panels in place. I haven't tried the included blade as I mostly use Torx.
