Expensive little penlight, but it seems to be of superb quality. I am an electronics tech, not a doctor, but I purchased this penlight for my tool kit as I have found that LED lights tend to make identifying the true colors of components and wiring (think resistor color code etc.) difficult as they generally are too blue or otherwise deficient in color rendering. Also, even a compact flashlight is sometimes too bulky to comfortably carry in a pocket when working on equipment, making a penlight very handy. I have heard complaints that these lights are somewhat fragile, with bulb and switch failures, but I hope to get a few years out of it as I probably won't be using it as much as a doctor or clinician might.
