I have always used three-bladed fixed broadheads with both my compound bow, and Horton crossbow. I have recently purchased a Ten Point Stealth crossbow, and can’t wait to use these tips. My only issue is that the three blade practice tips are extremely difficult to find. I wish Rage would include a practice tip with this purchase, like they used to with past Rage broadheads. This is why I did not rate these as a five star buy.

I've been bowhunting for about 40 yrs,so I've seen about everything out there for broadheads & I've been looking for a good 3 blade expandable that flies like a target point. I've shot the 2 blade Rage for years so I thought I would check these out.Initially they look good and seem to be good quality with fairly thick blades and do fly very well. That being said I have a huge problem with the deployment ....or lack of. Just setting at my work bench I installed one on an arrow and tried to manually deploy it just to see how much force it took to open it.....I couldn't get it to deploy by trying to push a blade out with the back of my thumbnail ,couldn't do it.. in fact it took considerable force against the front end of one of the blades to open it ????...... Sadly IMO the design is not up to the same standard of the original 2 blade rage broadheads or even some cheaper 3 blade expandables,I wouldn't want to depend on this to do the job for what could possibly the one and only shot I might get at a mature whitetail.------furthermore I shot one through a piece of 3/8" thick tough corrugated cardboard into the broadhead target,I posted the pic. , if you look at the exit hole in the back of the cardboard you can clearly see that only one blade fully opened ....IMO that kinda negates the purpose of using an expandable broadhead if it doesn't fully open on entry......Not Impressed.....no excuse. Passes through, leaves great exit woulds. Easy to spot your blood trail. After you recover your arrow I’ve had no issues disassembling and reassembling for cleaning. Replacement parts are a bit pricey, but I haven’t had to replace anything yet. Very durable and I’m very happy.
