Seal install
After installing seals all my life, this one took the cake. Opened the package, and found the spring half off, so put it back in. Upon installing it the lip of the seal turned outward, and therefore leaked my oil out as the engine sat overnight, without being run . I must be out of practice, but it’s not an easy one. seems to be goood
it appears to be OK. I did not use it as it was taking so long to receive I had to get another one to finish up customers mower. I put this into my inventory. But again it looks good and price was reasonable

Perfect fit.
Not much to say, it does what it is supposed to do, no more oil leaks on my tractor. Purchased a used lawn tractor, as mine blew the transaxle at the time, it looked like the top seal is leaking. There were 2 problems, head gasket leak and the oil pan gasket had a fold in it. The head gasket leak was creating a lot of internal pressure, causing the crankshaft seal leaks and pushing oil through the oil breather into the carburetor. Since the oil pan gasket was not right, it was also leaking. I replaced the crankshaft seals, top and bottom, oil pan gasket, and the head gaskets, tightened all bolts to factory specification. No more oil leaks.Not much to say, it does what it is supposed to do, no more oil leaks on my tractor.
