Works fairly well in my setup, I used Meanwell RSP-3000-48 as power supply so pretty much running it at full rated power. Steel gets white hot in abt 4-5 minutes (with the graphite insert and coil that are included). Going to coat the quartz crucible with either graphite or silicon carbide coating when the graphite insert is used up. The driver heat is stable but cooling the coil takes a big heat reservoir, maybe get a tig welding water chiller or recirculate water from a swimming pool.
