Bottom is not not fully attach as metal band has deteriorated on two sides not allowing the band to hold bottom as needed. 1885 Wood Grain Measure by Daniel Cragin, Wilton NH. Primitive, Antique Round, Wooden, Dry Measure Boxes made by Daniel Cragin in Wilton, New Hampshire between 1885 and 1900. Hand made using Oak & Pine and bound together with Steel bands overlapping and then nailed into place. Has stamp that reads: “Daniel Cragin Wilton, N.H. ”. Measures: 14.5" across (16.5" with handles) x 7 5/8" tall. Some minor blemishes due to its vintage age of almost 140 years old. Could restore by replacing damaged band or leave as is.”
