Easy to play and great sounding five string bass.
There are some good five string basses out there but having played quite a few, this one feels the best. The fret board is not super wide but the neck has some thickness, so I find it easy to play. Quite heavy however so be prepared with a good wide strap! Came set up and all but one string was in tune right at the delivery. It took me a couple of tries to get my last bass set up and it was move expensive than this Sterling. The maple fret board is slightly more “alive” than rosewood also which I like. I would highly recommend this bass to anyone. It seems strong, well-built, nicely finished, and a delight to play!There are some good five string basses out there but having played quite a few, this one feels the best.
