I purchased this to use in my duty belt. I have been a law enforcement officer for over 25 years (Not a security guard). This light is light weight and is incredibly bright. You do need to buy batteries and a charger which will cost you at least double the price of the light. The issue that I have is that you never know what state the light will be in when you click the "on" button. Sometimes you get strobe, sometimes you get dim, sometimes you get bright. So using this at work is a complete no-go. The first time I turn it on in strobe when I am looking for dim, well that's not going to end well. Nothing says look my way like a bright disco strobe. Now for use around the farm and camping-it is awesome. If you need a rugged bright light then this is the one for the price. If you need to use it on your duty belt keep looking.Read full review

First of all I love the XML-T6 leds. I believe at best this light has a Q5. way smaller and produces far less light. 12,000LM ????? It is stupid to even think a single led could have this high an output. as 1200LM is pushing it. My search light has 9 t6 leds and is blinding and still not close to 12,000. The flashlight its self is actually an "Ultrafire" identical in every way to my genuine article. The price I paid for two plus batterys and charger is a steal. One can always replace the diode with a brighter module if more light is needed. I feel that this is a good purchase just don't expect some super bright light that going to light up the dark side of the moon.

I own several smaller Cree LED flashlights and I'm very impressed by the performance for the size. This is a step up from the smaller lights and puts out some serious light. Brightest flashlight I've ever owned. Zoom feature is great! Can light up a whole acre, or zoom in to a spot a 1/4 miles away. I'm going to buy another one. Maybe two. They make excellent gifts.

It's a moderately sized light weight aluminum flashlight. For the price it's hard to beat. Do not expect a surefire and you will appreciate these lights. There not any where near 10000 lumens. More like 200 to 300 but they are very bright white light that can be adjusted from narrow to wide beam. The battery's and chargers are not the best but for the price once again they do pretty good. Just can't beat the price. Can order 10 sets and be set for life and still be under the cost of one higher quality light. Get them all burning together and it may be closer to the 10000 lumen mark as well. Lol I ordered several other stiles to compare them.

Bought this light so I can see inspect my truck on the road. Its definitely bright with adjustable zoom and rechargeable batteries. Several months later batteries died and Ive bought a set to replace them. Flashlight still works great.
