Another Great Mr Heater Product!
Great Heater! Did not come with threaded elbow for hooking up line to heater, but I had one here in my stock. Fast Shipping. It is being used in a 31 ft RV and it stays on lowest setting of 1 to 1.5 to keep the opposite end of trailer at 21 Celsius, Built in Thermostat works great. 30 lbs propane bottle lasts me about 4-5 days at outside temps ranging from +2 Celsius days to -10 Celsius at night, not including windchill. I do have a couple Carbon Monoxide detectors and a smoke alarm, and none have ever gone off. I am also using a dehumidifier, to keep moisture in check. Great Heater!Great Heater! Great for a shop, but not living spaces.
It does work. It does smell when it burns. There is a very strong odor from the combustion, and so ventilation is important. It is rated for indoor use, but make sure it is well ventilated for the combustion gasses. Buy a circulation fan for it also, as the heat rises straight up. There is a marked difference between 1 & 2 on the heat settings, but none visible from 2-5. It does come with feet and wall mounting bracket, along with screws & a battery for ignition. You will need a hose or piping in order to supply gas to it. 3/8" is the size. A standard LPG pressure regulator 11-14" of wc is needed if run off a portable tank. Read the instructions when you get it. It discusses priming of the fuel line/system.It does work. It does smell when it burns. Large and heavy heater that really puts out the heat.
The directions say not to operate the heater between the 5 settings but that seems to be the setting that provides temperature that is not too hot or not hot enough. I bought the auxilary blower which helps to distribute the heat better. It really puts out the heat, I've never had it up to the 3rd setting.
