The heater arrived one day ahead of the scheduled date. I just got it assembled. Very easy job. Fueled it up and plugged it in. The heater lit off as expected and quieted down within ten seconds of ignition. I watched it closely until it began to cycle. The "body" of the heat chamber did get warmer than I expected but did not cause a problem. It is a shop heater and seems to work very well. Remarkably less noise than the old "Torpedo" technology.

    Good quality product heats 3 car garage easy and fast

    Quality steel construction no plastic (with the exception of the handle) comparing to their competition (main heater body secured to the tank with flimsy plastic housing), comes with extra filter, thermostat control works very well, quite comparing to the torpedo heater, comes with a stand, only drawback does make black smoke for few seconds at the startup cold start. Manual is not detailed enough to perform the recommended service such as replacing nozzle or cleaning. No info on their website either. Customer support was helpful sending a replacement part overnight but no info on adjustment available to minimize the smoking issue. Would highly recommend CPO to contact Mr heater to add maintenance instructions “how to” on their website like cleaning the nozzle etc.

    Fast little heater

    This thing heats my shop up super quick. Goes through a bit of fuel to do so but just for that initial heating in the morning, it works great and fast! I made a YT video about this on ruking_around

    Does the job so far

    After buying this heater, I read several reviews about the dreaded “E1” error code. I know that it will show when you run out of fuel, as I did. I haven’t yet seen it for anything else so I can’t comment but I have a hunch of what might cause it in the future but we’ll see. Overall, so far I like it a lot and it does what I want the way I want it to. The only thing I think should change is that since it weighs more than 75 pounds full, it should come with wheels. I have added my own as have others.
