I had not seen this paperback edition of the Arban's and frankly, thought I was ordering a used complete edition. However, this has all the various exercises and is a useful text but does not include the duets or Characteristic Studies in the standard larger edition. I don't believe the description included the paperback edition, but then I could have missed that. Nonetheless, I'll be using it as a loaner for one of my students, who is gradually buying her own materials.
