Works better than expected.
Wanted adjustable vent deflector for ceiling vent, this works perfect. Would recommend this for ceiling and not going with floor type as this has more magnetics. Adjustable and very easy to install just place it down flat and let the magnets do the work. Really diverts the air, my vent was over my bed and blowing down on me with quite a bit of force this diverted air flow and now do not notice air directed to me at all. I would recommend this for out of the way vents.
I bought three of these, two for bedrooms one for the kitchen. I think these will be great as long as they are under something that they won't get knocked into. I had been usuing these for about a week when my 3 year old niece went running thru the kitchen and ran over it and it shattered. The magnets seem to hold well and they adjust size easily.

Deep enough to fit over wooden floor vent
This is a great, super wide and deep clear plastic vent deflector. It is very sturdy yet barely noticeable. I have two in open spaces in the living room and they do not detract from the decor.

It was a little tricky getting it positioned around the adjustment knob at the side of my vent, which is not exactly like the one pictured, but once I finally found the sweet spot it works well. No longer have the bedroom ceiling vent blowing directly on my head!
