Vintagefold-out 1941 Esso road map of Pennsylvania, printed more than 80years ago.

• The map opens to 23" x 33"and has greatdetail on old highway alignments, including therecently opened PennsylvaniaTurnpike, withcartography by the General Drafting Company.
• On the reverse side there isa pictorial map of the state and insetplans of a dozen cities, including Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Scranton,Johnstown, Altoona, Erie, Allentown,Lancaster,and Harrisburg.
• The map was published in 1941 by the Standard Oil Company ofPennsylvania to promote its Esso brand. It is dated on the cover and inthe legend. The code number in the lower margin is 141.
• The front coverphotograph shows the Pennsylvania Monument on the Gettysburg Battlefield.
