The first Roosevelt dimes were minted in 1946 and remain in production today. John R. Sinnock\'s design of the Roosevelt dime features US President Franklin D. Roosevelt on the coin\'s obverse and a torch with olive and oak branches on the reverse. Roosevelt dimes minted before 1965 are composed of 90% silver. Roosevelt dimes minted beginning in 1965 are Copper-nickel. Roosevelt dimes were preceded by Mercury dimes.

For small numbers of coins like these we use \'s Standard Envelope Shipping (ESUS) option. It\'s an economical and reliable method to ship coins for a fraction of the cost of regular shipping. We pass that savings on to you in the form of lower prices. ESUS envelopes include a barcode that is scanned by the USPS on the way to your location, however these scans are frequently missed by the USPS. Rest assured, your package is still on its way! Also, the USPS reports these ESUS envelopes as \"Delivered\" before they actually reach your location. This typically happens as they pass through the last USPS sorting facility before your address, but your item may still be several days away. They usually arrive within a day or two after being reported as \"Delivered\". You should expect your purchase to arrive shortly. Watch for a large envelope with a large white label on the front. Be aware these often arrive well after the estimated date provided by , some times by 2 or 3 weeks. Let us know if you\'ve waited longer than that.
