Admiral Dewey Signed Letter 1913
On Admiral of the Navy office letterhead a typed letter to Mrs. E. L. Lewis of Des Moines IA concerning a mortgage in a loan to F. L. Cramer, incorporating the "Aldredge note and mortgage.". DAte November 14th, 1913.
A pencil notation says that a reply was sent to Dewey on November 18th.
Also included a typed note by James I Dolliver, Spiriti Lake IA dated October 22 1969. It details the career and achievements on Mrs. Lewis husband, who seemed to have been Dewey's Lawyer, as we have listed anothe lette from Dewey to him.
