This is an awesome yet dark part of the history in the US. Mrs Winslow’s Soothing Syrup was a very controversial topic in the late 1800s to early 20th century. Here, I present what is likely a pharmacist or alike writing down the recipe for a customer. The paper is embossed with Sisson and Butler Hartford Connecticut. The ingredient that it contains has now been banned substance for children. Daniel Green was the owner of this recipe and had saved it for many years.
