This delightful nineteenth century doll is wearing her original hand stitched outfit, which still has its beautiful colors and detail. She has a long lace scarf at her waist, with a bouquet of flowers, which has remained largely intact for more than a century. Her body is made primarily of cloth. She has wax shoulders and, I believe, the head is wax over some kind of metal. There are areas on the head where the material has been chipped off, revealing some kind of silver metal underneath. She has hand painted features. Under her long, flowing dress, she wears her original petticoat and bloomers. She\'s missing one shoe. From the top of her head to the bottom of her dress, she measures 12.25\". This rare doll is in good condition, considering her age, which probably dates to mid to late 1800s. There is some discoloration and tears in the lace and a missing shoe. A very nice and hard to find one for the collector.
