ANTIQUE RARE PATENT MODEL BRONZE SLAVE CLOCK ELECTRIC SWISS 1870 MASTER CLOCK:
$550.00

This is the most amazing secondary or slave clocks i have seen. It is an experimental or prototype clock, probably as a result of a Campiche research made in Switzerland. With no doubt, this model is one of the first slave clocks ever made. This piece has a simple massive bronze case with no frontal crystal or bezel to protect its enameled dial, but it has a crystal and bezel on back to show mechanism. Its austerity is evidence of its experimental purpose and it was not a commercial clock. This is probably a patent clock. This instrument is controlled by electric pulses transmitted by a master clock every one minute. The simplyidea is to show how an electromagnet can move a mechanical clock. Itis evident it has been made to display how electricity can be used towatchmaking (in this case for a slave clock with a visible movement for scientific purpose). This very unusual adviceis part of an engineering experiment, because is not a complete clock buta slave clock that needs a master clock as a font that provides each electric pulse. An historicalinstrument that shows how the human being has tried to use electricity to make awatch works. All expertsI reveal this piece agree it is the oldest electric slave clock they have seen(Circa: 1870), most probably made in Switzerland (Campiche prototype) or Germany, because it needs impulsesevery one minute. Anextremely rare electromechanical slave clock for a museum now available forhigh collectors.
