This powerful pump lasts longer, is built with the environment in mind, and requires less maintenance than a traditional filter cartridge pump. It uses either silica sand or Bestway Polysphere Pool Filtration Balls (both sold separately) to filter debris out of your pool. An included pre-filter strainer basket catches larger items and increases the pool pump\'s efficiency and longevity while the ChemConnect dispenser helps to simplify your pool maintenance routine. This dispenser provides a stable level of chlorine (not included) throughout your pool to maintain proper chemical balance.
Pre-assembled, you can just plug in the swimming pool pump and power it up to start seeing an improvement in the filtration of your pool. This sand filter pump is compatible with 300 to 11,200-gallon (1,100 to 42,300-Liter) above-ground pools and resists corrosion for reliable, long-term use. Featuring a 6-position handle to easily switch the filter functions between filter, closed, backwash, rinse, drain, and circulate, you can easily control the sand pump.
