This painting was purchased from the estate of a deceased older gentleman in North Carolina. I have not taken this painting to try and have it authenticated, but I did find a lot of information that ,ales it intriguing. The person in the middle of the painting appears to resemble the artist teniers. There other subjects in the painting are people that appear to resemble characters in other paintings he has completed. The writing on the back is done with very old ink and is numbered in a manner that coincides with his other works. Again I cannot guarantee the authenticity, but I feel compelled to think it is a work completed by him, or one of his students. There are some condition issues with the painting as it is very old. I am pricing it accordingly but may consider offers to the right buyer. If you have any questions do not hesitate to ask.
