Exquisite Renaissance Style Hand Painted Russian Lacquer Box Signed by Artist For Sale

This is an incredibly beautiful painting of this women in red who also wears a jeweled headdress. I was fortunate to be able to attend a traveling Russian art exhibit over 20 years ago. They had museum quality pieces that were not for sale but they also had the most beautiful painted boxes that I have ever seen and many of those were for sale. The artist's signature is at the bottom right though it is very tiny and needs a magnifying glass to see it properly. This box is 5 3/4" high and 4" across. The lacquer is so shiny that it makes it hard to get good pictures that don't show a fingerprint or a mirrored image which is why I used several photos of the front. This piece has been displayed in a cabinet in a non-smoking home since I purchased it and it is in great condition. There is one spot on the side that is a lighter black in color and it can be seen in the second to last photo. Please look at all photos carefully and contact me with any questions that you may have prior to purchasing. I saw four similar boxes listed on this site. Two are of lesser quality, probably painted by a student, and the other two are beautiful and like this listing are probably painted by a teacher or master. The main difference between the last two and mine are slight differences in the facial features and differences in the colors used.
