HARTLEY\'S HUMPTY DUMPTY EASTER EGG PUZZLE SET

Attention Serious Toy/Puzzle /Easter Collectors!

Only about 6 at most or LESS of these come up for sale in any given year. To those unfamiliar with this rare collectible/toy here is some info.

As a note this toy is INCLUDED AS part of the digital toy museum archive of Indiana University /Lilly Library and Brandeis University. Slocum archivist.

The HUMPTY DUMPTY Easter Egg Puzzle was patent pending by the Helen Hart Novelty Company, 170 Madison Ave. NYC. in 1949 and in production until 1952. Hence rare.

Each egg is composed of 6 pieces in a tricky puzzle. The colors are sometimes assigned to different pieces on each puzzle but are a mixture of pink, blue, white, yellow.

On the reverse side, split between the top puzzle piece and the bottom piece is the Humpty Dumpty Rhyme, some in blue letters, some red, and some just engraved, the color lost to time.

Each piece bears one letter in capitals inside. One with H, another with U, another with M, and etc. to spell HUMPTY in 6 letters. Probably code to assemble. Size 3”W x 4”H X 3”D

A copy of the original assembly guide is enclosed.

All pieces lubricated with plastic safe silicone and all pieces carefully adjusted for easy assembly/disassembly.
