NEW triple chime quartz clock movement conversion kit to be used in place of a Hermle 2214 or 2215 clock movement with a 21 mm shaft length. 13/16" overall length center shaft - for use with dials up to 3/8" thick. Choice of 3 melodies: Full 4/4 Westminster, Ave Maria, Bim-Bam, and hourly strike only. Counts the hour on the hour with all 4 chime options. Uses 2 "C" cell batteries, alkaline recommended. The movement measures 4 5/8" (118 mm) wide x 4 7/16" (113 mm) tall and 1 1/8" (29.5 mm) thick (not including the center shaft). Adjustable volume control. Speaker box measures 2 3/8" x 2 3/8" x 15/16" thick (59.5 x 59.5 x 23.5 mm). The speaker can also be used without the housing - mounting strap is included. Speaker measures 2 1/4" diameter without the housing. Instructions included.
PLEASE NOTE -this movement is NOT made by Hermle or Howard Miller - it is a quality substitute - the Hermle movements are now out of production. THIS MOVEMENT IS A DIFFERENT SIZE THAN THE HERMLE - PLEASE MEASURE YOUR CLOCK CASE TO MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE SPACE FOR THIS MOVEMENT - IN MOST CASES, THIS WILL FIT.
PLEASE measure the hand shaft length of your existing movement from the front of the clock movement out to the tip of the shaft (this requires removing the movement from the case). If the overall length is 13/16" or less, this will work for you. If the shaft length is longer, please check our other listings, as I carry this in 3 shaft lengths - 16 mm equivalent, 21 mm equivalent, and 25 mm equivalent.
THIS MOVEMENT IS AUTOMATICALLY SHIPPED WITH 3" LENGTH SERPENTINE STYLE HANDS (SHOWN IN THE FIRST PHOTO WITH THE MOVEMENT) UNLESS YOU REQUEST A DIFFERENT STYLE OR LENGTH. HAND LENGTH IS MEASURED FROM THE CENTER OF THE HOLE TO THE TIP OF THE MINUTE HAND.Serpentine style shown in the photo with the movement is available in 1 7/8", 2 1/2", 3", and 4 1/4" lengths. Spade style in photo #2 are available in 2 1/2", 3 1/2", 4 1/2", and 5 1/2" lengths. Eli Terry style in photo #3 is available in 2 3/4" length only. Sword style in photo #4 is available in 3 1/4" length only. All hands except sword style are black on one side and white on the other. One set of hands per order.
