SHIPPING - We gladly combine shipping on multiple items. Shipping costs on many items are automatically calculated in the cart; however, some items (usually large, bulky, odd-shaped or heavy items) may not combine automatically. In those cases, you may request a total prior to payment or we will process a refund on shipping overages at the time of shipping.
- If several separate orders are made within a short timeframe and before the first package ships, shipping will be combined on the orders. Please be aware that once we receive notification from that an order has been paid, shipping processes may commence soon thereafter.
- For shipping quotes, please send a short message with the item numbers you wish to purchase and your zip code.
- Orders are processed for shipping within 24 hours of payment and are transferred to the USPS or commercial carrier the same day or next business day.
- Generally, packages under 16 oz. are shipped by USPS Ground Advantage, and packages over 16 oz. are shipped by USPS Priority Mail or commercial carrier (FedEx or UPS). Media Mail is only used on orders consisting solely of books or literature.
- Model train items are carefully packaged to protect delicate parts such as trucks, couplers, stirrups, railings and other fragile parts. All items are secured safely in the package to prevent movement or damage during shipping and to protect the items from possible \"blunt force trauma\" within the mailing system.
- If a package is returned due to incomplete or incorrect address provided by buyer in , a refund will be issued upon receipt of the item(s) and will exclude the original shipping charge.
