Just replacethe sling point stud on the forendcap with spike, and done!

Thread size is 10-32, Adapter is 7/16 inch indiameter
Very easy installation.
You do not need to remove the magazine cap, just the stud.
Get a thin screw driver (or something else) that can slip through the hole of the stud and take it out then screw in the spike.
Done!
