First, the tool is lightweight,comfortable to hold and use, produces incredible gripping strength without theworry of thread damage or deformation. The filler unit can be left in the toolwhile performing other operations such as cleaning, inspection and installingthe new diaphragm. The Vac Extractor is made in the US and is madefrom 6061 Aluminum and stainless steel. I designed the Vac Extractor after the lastfountain pen show I attended in 2021. After talking to multiple vendorsand watching them use the currently available tools it became apparent to methat a new and completely different tool design was needed. I began engineeringthis design as soon as I returned home.
