This listing is for a wonderful and early portrait painting dating to the mid 19th century. This painting was found in a New England home. The painting is very well done. The painting is unsigned and is done on a large thick wood panel measuring 25”x 20”. There is some scattered wear and chipping to the paint which is mainly found around the edge of the piece. Also some wear to the board, see pictures. Please see the photos for details.
