Fairly Rare Jazzmaster in great condition! squire Jazzmaster Deluxe in Candy Apple Red. Identical specs to J. mascis Squire Jazzmaster (gold & white) which is still easily available on Amazon and Reverb unlike the Candy Apple Red version which has been discontinued and is a lot less available. Search for this guitar on google and see how many are for sale and you’ll understand why I have it priced the way I do. There’s a reason no one is selling this guitar and it’s not just because of being discontinued. My personal opinion is that this guitar has became somewhat of a favorite and a legend in the Jazzmaster community. There are rumors that this model as well as the white/gold J.Mascis signature model became so popular that they were selling far more than regular USA made jazzmasters hence it being discontinued. Guitar players were digging this Squire Jazzmaster just as much if not more than the expensive USA made alternative Jazzmaster models. Basically the word on the street is for a fraction of the price you can get a Squire Fender Jazzmaster that is just as well made as the real deal USA made Jazzmaster!
