An extraordinary Limited Edition vase signed by the designer, Rachel Bishop for Moorcroft. It\'s titled \"Sweet Thief\"This stunning art deco piece has a base and neck ring in Moorcroft\'s cobalt blue that fades to allow the tube line large purple and cream flowers and emphasis the flow of vines, leaves and beautiful green and orange buds. Hand tube lined with proprietary slip, hand painted and hand glazed. This piece is numbered 299 and dated on July 27, 2001. The design was originally created and adopted in 2000. My understanding is that this series only sold to the Moorcroft \"members only\" as indicated by the Star on the bottom and number of 299.The vase is in superb condition bearing no chips, cracks, crazing or repairs.
Rachel Bishop is Heritage Pottery Moorcroft\'s Senior Designer and has held this position for over 25 years. She produces work of unsurpassed brilliance which is collected World Wide.
