Two, Silvertone #45A tubes, with the shouldered glass envelope. The 45A tube is an uprated version of the #45 tube, where both the plate voltage allowance and power output increases. They were made by National Union for Sears Roebuck department stores and sold under the brand name of Silvertone.Tested on a Hickok TV-3 military tester that has been calibrated. Black plates, firm bases, engraved logo bases, excellent silvering. Tubes are matched for dynamic gain and structure- test at 2050, 1975 where pass/fail is 1170 micromho, when tested under the same bias and filament voltage as the #45 tube. The tubes have the same structure inside and out, having date codes \"4CX\" and \"4AX\", four weeks apart in early 1934.
