Do Not fill the tank directly from a pressurized line (garden hose), this is not a safe option and will explode the tank.
Do Not over-tighten fitting damage will occur, use plastic connecting fittings as metal will damage threads.

Question: Can I hook a garden hose directly to the tank?
Answer: No, using a garden hose is a pressurized water source, making a sealed connection to the tank by screwing the hose to the tank will cause the tank to explode. To fill the tank using a garden hose you can use a gravity fill dish on the outside of your unit, this is not a sealed connection and allows the tank to be filled without pressurizing the tank. Fill dishes can be found in our store.Question: Can I cut a hole in the tank and glue a new fitting in?
Answer: No, the tank fittings are not glued in they are spun welded during the manufacturing process.Question: I need a custom tank can you make it?
Answer: We can manufacture custom tanks, however you would need to purchase a mold which ranges from $2,500 and up.Question: I need a ____ Water Tank, do you have other sizes?
