RICH TOYS - 1930 and 1940’s FIBERBOARD CASTLE - GOOD CONDITION - MUST SEE -This lot contains ORIGINAL and VINTAGE Rich Toys fiberboard or Masonite castle. This item is scaled perfectly for 45MM to 54MM figures. While this item is certainly not perfect, it is in Good condition. Castle has roof mounted spring-loaded firing cannon that is in working condition. Cannon is also moveable from side to side. Drawbridge/gate has what appears to be original string/cord connecting gate through the castle wall. Gate is not attached to the castle as one hinge is missing and the other is unattached. Castle is approximately 19 inches wide and approximately 11 inches tall. There is a mechanism attached to castle roof at rear for raising and lowering the gate, but it must have connected to another pulley, which is missing, in order to open and close the gate. Mechanism turns freely and emits a \"clanking\" sound as the crank is turned. Item has expected wear for 70 year old toy. One metal/tin tower and balcony is missing, but this castle is still mostly complete, is sturdy, and it displays SUPER. Please review all pics to see this item in more detail.
