Vintage french wire cage flower frog. Measures 2 inches in height by 4 inches in diameter. Round with a dome shape and features 2 layers of wire in a round grid. The wire grid is attached to a heavy, lead ring at the base. Lead was necessary for weight to hold the flower frog in place while holding flower stems underwater. It has been well used as you can tell by the aged patina. The piece has oxidized. Would look great among garden-themed decor.
