Inspired by an original 1930's McCall day dress pattern (see images) this dress is classic Art Deco 30's with it's long lean look and 'Angle' detailing.
The dress has a cross over bodice with several angles and
'bow' tie at the neck.
The skirt section has over lapping V shapes in the front with a front kick pleat.
The short sleeves are set in and have release pleats at the cuff to give that classic 30s puff sleeve. Cuffs in a gorgeous teal colour.
The dress is unlined has a side zip and comes with a matching fabric belt with a brown vintage buckle.
100% cotton fabric in a fabulous art deco "Leaf" print in autumn shades of brown and teal.
The dress also comes with a matching 30s style hat!
Measurements:
Hat 57 cm internal circumference (this does not need to sit on down on your head. It is a 30s beret style so it is intended to be worn at an angle, fix with hat pin and can be worn on many different head sizes).
Dress measurements were taken on the garment laying flat, so will need to be doubled for approximate total measurements.
