WW1 Princess Mary 1914 Xmas Tin With Pencil, 1914 Xmas Card & 2 x WW1 Medals For Sale

Hi I am selling some of my 1914 Xmas tin collection that I have collected over the years. Here for sale is an original WW1 Princess Mary 1914 Xmas Tin With Pencil, 1914 Xmas Card & 2 x WW1 Medals . The pencil is in original brass casing which is M.O.D. Broad arrow marked to base. There are also two miniature WW1 medals with ribbon. The tin is an embossed brass box that originally contained a variety of items such as tobacco and chocolate and was given as a Christmas present to those serving at Christmas in 1914 and was paid for by a public fund backed by Princess Mary. The tin is in a used condition with some blemishes but without splits. There are signs of patina which would be expected with its age. The greeting card unfortunately has split in two at the seam.
