Whole cowhide leather hides. Colors available are light and dark browns, blacks, grays, reds, beige, white and blue. Each hide is a different shade so I'm selling in shades. If you would have a color you are looking for (not an exact match) message me with a picture of the leather and I'll see what we have. We now have almost 1,000 hides in stock and while we are not selling specific colors matched to an exact color we can send you pictures before ordering.
You can see a few samples of the colors in my pictures.These are full cowhides, approximately 36 square feet (6 feet x 6 feet). The size of the hide varies from one to another. The smallest (all irregular in shape) is around 5' x 5' and the larges 7' x 8'. The leather hides vary in thickness from 1.2 mm to 1.8mm and vary in size also.
The finish also varies. There may be some wrinkles or imperfections within the hide. The wrinkles can be removed by ironing the back on a medium setting with a towel put over the leather.The whole cowhides are soft and supple, perfect if you are making larger items including handbags, totes, purses, pocketbooks, gun cases, small furniture pieces, pillows, and much more.Ships from North Carolina.
