WC 50\' Ex- Soo Woodchip Boxcar
This HO car is built from an Athearn model. On this car there\'s Kadee no. 5 couplers, custom decaled for WC and painted, and the roofwalk has been removed as was common by the 1970s. It\'s also custom weathered. It will be carefully packed and wrapped in a shipping suitable mailing carton Stock Trucks with Scale tread metal wheels. A neat feature is the woodchip load, which is formed using 1\" think insulation board covered with wood colored \"sawdust\". There is a magnate taped to the underside of the foam load. It attracts to the steel Athearn weight. At the ends of the foam block are a set of wood spacers attached to the floor, just to make the load doesn\'t shift too far. To remove the load, simply remove the entire Athearn underframe and lift it out. The doors do not remove however and I think most folks will keep the car loaded.
