Yamaha\'s new DBR series of powered portable speakers is the most portable series in Yamaha\'s lineup of powered speakers for PA applications. Inheriting the DSP processing, acoustic design, and mechanical design technologies accumulated through the development of the world-acclaimed DSR and DXR series, the DBR series achieves both compact size and light weight, high sound quality, and high sound pressure. The lineup includes the DBR10, one of the smallest and most compact models in the class with a 10-inch woofer, which is powerful and ideal as a utility speaker; the DBR12, a standard model with a 12-inch woofer that offers an excellent balance of size and performance and can serve as both main speaker and floor monitor; and the DBR13, a model with a 10-inch woofer, which offers ample low bass. The DBR12 is equipped with a 12-inch woofer, offering an excellent balance of size and performance, and the DBR15 is equipped with a 15-inch woofer, boasting ample low frequency range and ideal for main speakers. Convenient and simple mixerThe DBR series has two inputs, CH1 and CH2, with CH1 providing a combo connector (XLR or TRS Phone connection) that can be switched between mic and line level, and CH2 providing a combo connector and RCA-pin line level input. The signal from the output connector can be connected in parallel with CH1 or mixed out between CH1 and CH2 for easy system expansion.Enclosure design for high performance in floor monitoringIn addition to a pole socket for speaker stand installation, the DBR series is equipped with a 50° monitor angle ideal for floor monitor installation, which can be used in combination with the D-CONTOUR MONITOR mode to easily create an optimal sound environment for floor monitoring. Furthermore, the symmetrical enclosure design of the DBR12 and DBR15 enables “mirror mode” installation, which is required for floor monitoring for vocalists and stereo sound field monitoring for keyboard players.Rigging points for equipment installationThe DBR series enclosures are equipped with rigging points (M8 threaded holes) that can be used with optional Yamaha speaker brackets (for wall, ceiling, or baton mounting) and commercially available eyebolts for a variety of facility installations. The grille can be removed and changed up or down.Brackets and eyebolts are not included.
