Okay, so you read the details above… and you’re thinking “that’s great, but what about me?” You’re running dual high-pressure oil pumps creating twice the oil volume, or huge boost from a big single or compound turbo set-up, which means you’re fueling twice as much and the HEUI system is working overtime. You’re demanding peak performance from your truck every time you put your foot in the pedal. The OE sensors were designed to see peak pressures under full load for short durations (towing up a grade, etc.). One of the things the OE sensors hate the most is high temps in the engine compartment with ambient little air flow/change. Combine that with peak injection pressure for extended durations and your truck is going to eat ICP sensors, period.
